Students receive research training on research methods annually, and ethics training on the first year. They interact with their peer group through group seminars, group supervision and master classes. At institutional level, they participate in research seminars and symposia. Students engage with the professional world outside the institution through public engagement activities and collaborative / live projects.
There is an annual progress review.
Undergraduate & Masters Research

The QAE policy and strategy is supervised by University of Vic, Central Catalonia.
Supervision
Supervisors are appointed depending on research interests and availability. Normally, staff work with 1 to 2 students.
Supervisors are allocated 45h annually and are provided with training.
Staffing
70% of academic staff hold a 3rd Cycle Award.
5% of staff are currently undertaking a 3rd cycle award in the institution.
Overall, responsibility for managing 3rd cycle programme resides with the Doctoral Unit Coordinator / Graduate School.

The doctoral programme is advertised nationally.

Currently there are 20 registered students in the PhD programme in artistic research.
To date, no students have graduated from the programme.
